We represent almost 5000 health care staff working across Bury, Oldham, North Manchester and Rochdale. Most of our members work for Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and associated private contractors such as ISS Mediclean and Medirest. We also have members working in the three local primary care trusts (PCTs) and also in private nursing and residential homes scattered throughout the region.

Our primary aim as a branch of the UK's largest trade union is simple. We want to be your 'friend in the workplace'. We believe that the nation's healthcare is best delivered by well-motivated staff who are treated with respect by their employer and who are paid at a rate that enables them to realise their own self-worth. UNISON PAH will do all within its power to ensure that our members views are represented whenever and wherever their pay, terms, conditions and professional futures are being discussed.
